# Hyatt Regency Mexico City

No Suites to be had — all snapped up for Día de los Muertos.

They gave me the best of what was left: Regency Club High Floor 1 King Bed — **$653**.

The bare minimum: 1 King Bed — **$547**.

A price fit for Royal Ascot. So I deployed a Category 1–4 Free Night Award.

The view is smashing. A park out of the window on the left, concrete jungle on the right, and life bubbling away like tequila left in the sun.

The Globalist was presented with a bottle of water and a slab of chocolate. Which, to be fair, is more than most British landlords offer.

The lounge is the size of a decent food court. Open during the day: freshly squeezed juice, nuts, pastries. Hardly anyone about — and no queue, which for a Brit is the very definition of luxury.
