# Spawning Season 🐠

Just as migrating birds fly south, December is when the status chaser starts to spawn.

Statuses spin, loyalties get stirred.

One of the great schemes of the season is to make it across the New Year Rubicon and bank your status nights towards next year.

The calendar says the second of January, and the status chaser has 20+ nights in the bag and not a trace of a hangover.

On the price–quality formula, where price is the clinching argument, China leads by such a handicap that every other country is left nursing its welcome drink.

So, no romance: we pick up the hoe, spit on our palms and Dig for Victory on the status allotment.
