I’m reading yet another “how to get from the airport” post.
Three paragraphs of pain. Five of personal growth.
And the distinct impression that the author crawled out of the terminal through the air vents, navigating by the moss on the suitcases.
And not a single link to https://wikitravel.org/en/
Because that isn’t content. It isn’t a “secret method”.
It’s just normal, dry, up-to-date information, no quest required.
Most articles on wikitravel are tourist slop.
But the “Get in” section of the English version is always up to date.
This week I was passing through Athens. It proved the point yet again.
On wikitravel, nobody’s hysterical.
No “save this so you don’t lose it”.
Just: here are the routes, here’s the price, here’s the time.
Everything works exactly as written. Keep calm and read the “Get in” section.
Sometimes the best life hack isn’t playing “I hype the lads, the lads slip me insider tips”, but opening a tab nobody is monetising.
