# Rove: Travel the World for 👌🏾

Rove's slogan [on its Y Combinator pitch page](https://www.ycombinator.com/companies/rove) sounds defiantly implausible: `"Travel the world for free."`

No sooner said than done.

Remember [the IONOS wheeze](https://loyalty.sarl/en/posts/2026-05-13-how-to-buy-110-eur-for-57/)?

Today 7,846 miles landed in my account.

But that's not the juicy bit.

When I signed up, I already had several ancient IONOS accounts.

Perhaps that's why, a week later, they cancelled the order placed through the Rove affiliate link and refunded the money.

Then [a European kaleidoscope](https://t.me/vesyolayakarusel/34) whirled into motion, and I had other things on my mind.

But the pending entry at Rove stayed put.

And today the miles finally dripped in.

So I got the money back and the miles credited.

The perfect monkey business 🐔

Preferably at someone else's company, mind.

Apropos of nothing, IONOS has vanished from [Rove's](http://www.rove.com/?signup&referralCode=C7CGD0VQ) list of affiliates.
