# Hotel Point Value 🛒

In recent years, lots of services have appeared for finding hotels bookable with points and working out CPP.

Put simply: is it worth booking a night on points, or better to pay money (cash, as we say).

[MaxMyPoint](https://maxmypoint.com/) is one of the oldest and best-known of the lot.

[Seats.aero](https://seats.aero/) have built [Rooms.aero](https://rooms.aero/).

There are another half-dozen services that, for a not-inconsiderable sum, promise calendars, alerts, availability and the rest of the professional nomad's slop.

But if you're not a wanderer at heart, aren't fishing for suites via SUAs and aren't monitoring award space at the rate of your pulse, you don't need paid subscriptions.

For you, one good soul has single-handedly knocked together a service: [maison1.one](https://maison1.one/).

You type in the cash price and the number of points, and you instantly see whether it's a good redemption or the loyalty programme is once again offering to swap a fortune for a postcard of the car park.

To my mind, it's currently the best option on UX: fast, clear, no registration, no subscription and no feeling that you need a Bloomberg Terminal to price up a single night at a Marriott.

Just booked a Hilton on points and thought of you straight away 😘
