*There are cash cows, and then there are points cows. Guess which one I've been milking.*

[As you'll remember](https://loyalty.sarl/en/posts/2026-07-14-first-semester-2026-195-nights/), the task for the second half of the year was to bid farewell to that co-operative of French hostel-keepers.

Burn the points. Forgive and forget.

But who was I kidding?

There's no jumping off the status boat.

Let's tot it up, face on:

**7,500 + 737 = €164.74**
**€202 − €164.74 = €37.26**
**€37.26 ÷ 5 = €7.45 a night**

Total: **€74.50 for 10 nights** in the deer-herding capital of Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi's Japan.
